T.Rex were one of those bands that oozed ‘cosmic-cool’, a post chuck berry rock ‘n’ roll act which inspired ALL of the ‘Glam’ in Glam Rock.

Fronted by Marc Bolan, who tragically died in an ironic Mini accident – Bolan refused to drive, fearing a car crash would shorten his music career.

Words are wasted when Bolan’s face in video for 20th Century Boy says it all about this band. They’re high as fucking kites, playing sleazy Glam Rock which would only ever be repeated by copy-cats and never improved.
